The terms on which we provide this website
These terms set out how you may use this website, what the information on it is and is not, and the basis on which we provide it. Please read them before using the site.
These terms govern your use of the website operated by Lapser Multi Speciality Clinic (“Lapser”, “we”, “us”), located in Sithalapakkam and Velachery, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
These terms apply to the website. The provision of medical treatment is governed separately by the consent process and any agreement entered into at the time of treatment.
Nothing on this website is medical advice, and reading it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. The content is general health information intended to help you understand conditions and treatment options before speaking to a doctor.
Medical conditions vary enormously between individuals. Symptoms that point to one condition in one person may indicate something entirely different in another. Only a qualified doctor who has examined you can diagnose your condition or recommend treatment for it.
This website and our contact channels are not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — severe pain, heavy bleeding, difficulty breathing, high fever, or any rapidly worsening symptom — call emergency services on 108 or attend the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.
Enquiries sent through this website, by WhatsApp or by email are responded to during clinic hours. Do not use them to report an urgent medical problem.
We take care to ensure the information on this website is accurate and current at the time of publication. Medical knowledge and clinical practice change, and content may not always reflect the most recent developments.
Treatment descriptions, recovery times and outcomes described on this website are general and typical. Your own experience may differ, and will depend on your condition, your general health and other individual factors.
We make no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Appointments may be requested by telephone, WhatsApp or through the forms on this website. A request is not confirmed until we have acknowledged it.
We make every effort to run to time, but clinical commitments can cause delays. Where a significant delay is expected, we will try to inform you in advance.
If you operate a cancellation policy, a no-show charge, or a rule on how far in advance appointments must be cancelled, state it explicitly here. Terms that are not published cannot reasonably be enforced.
A consultation fee applies. Fees for procedures depend on the condition, its severity, the technique used and the facility where treatment is carried out.
An estimate is provided after clinical evaluation. An estimate is an estimate: the final amount may differ where clinical findings during treatment require a different or extended procedure. Where that occurs, it is explained to you.
Insert your accepted payment methods, whether payment is taken before or after treatment, and your refund position. These are the terms most often disputed, so clarity protects both sides.
We assist with insurance documentation and pre-authorisation for eligible procedures. Coverage decisions rest entirely with your insurer and depend on the terms of your policy.
We cannot guarantee that any claim will be approved. Where a claim is declined or settled for less than the treatment cost, the balance remains payable by you. Further detail is on our insurance support page.
